Description
Kerttu lives in a very small village, so small that it almost doesn't exist. A great wind sweeps across the world, and houses and people fly with the wind. Kerttu flies away from her family and finds herself in an unknown forest. There Kerttu meets a wolf, who becomes her friend and confidant. Thus begins Kerttu's and Hukkas' adventure towards a wondrous tree, the Buut.
The organ tale by author Kari Hotakainen and composer Jouni Hirvelä originated from an email that organist Jan Lehtola sent to Hotakainen in October 2024. “Lehtola told me in his message about the famous organs of Musiikkitalo and asked me to write a tale around the organs. The request sounded both crazy and intriguing, so I said yes.”
