2 Nov Sonja Lumme
Sonja Lumme belongs to the elite of our jazz singers, and she has become known both as a strong interpreter in intimate concerts and as a brilliant vocal soloist with large orchestras and jazz ensembles. Her personal favorites include great jazz vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Bobby Darin and Mel Tormé, and 60s soul is also close to her heart.
The concert programme consists, among other things, of gems of vocal jazz and melodic jazz standards, for which Sonja Lumme is renowned as an expressive interpreter. The evening will also feature classics of bold soul, blue‑tinged blues and atmospheric ballads, receiving the rooted interpretation they deserve in this concert. Stories behind the pieces complete the whole.
