Edvard Grieg: Piano Concerto
Anton Bruckner: Symphony No. 9
Before his death Anton Bruckner prayed to God for the strength to complete his monumental ninth symphony. He did not succeed, but for many listeners this mighty spiritual journey is even more moving and human as an unfinished work. Constantinos Carydis measures the height of the symphony and dives into its depths. Before that he is joined by Leif Ove Andsnes, as Norway's most admired pianist performs Norway's most beloved concerto.
