Description
Lines in the Sky – Release Concert Free admission Lines in the Sky returns to the place where it was born. The release of the album on 577 Records is celebrated with a concert in which guitarist and composer Gon Muruaga returns to Villa Hakasalmi, together with Liudas Mockūnas. Chris Corsano also joins, and during the evening you will hear a concert of free jazz and experimental music guided by the same spirit of spontaneous creation that gave birth to the album. Lines in the Sky documents the first joint recording of Gon Muruaga, Liudas Mockūnas, and Teemu Mustonen. Rather than predetermined structures, the music builds through listening, collective improvisation, and the interaction that arises between the musicians in the moment. At the album release concert, Chris Corsano joins Gon Muruaga and Liudas Mockūnas to open a new chapter in the Lines in the Sky project. This is not a recreation of the album, but a continuation of its idea: exploring free improvisation, where the music develops organically through interaction, openness, and surprise.
