Description
The comet of the new generation of modern jazz guitar, Josh Meader, brings his trio to Finland this autumn! Graduated with honors from the Sydney Conservatorium, Meader has become an essential reference in the international guitar community thanks to his phrasing and melodic sensitivity, and his artistic standing among modern jazz guitarists has been further reinforced by his high‑profile collaboration with drum icon Virgil Donati.
Having released the debut album “Tides of Time” last year, the Josh Meader Trio serves as a bridge between jazz tradition and the latest global trends thanks to its wide stylistic range. The ensemble is completed by two Australian jazz scene heavyweights, National Jazz Award‑winning drummer Alex Hirlian and keyboardist Matt Thomson.
