Description
A bubbling portrait of 1920s Helsinki and the Prohibition era, when liquor poured in from Estonia and jazz from America. The venue is the Paratiisi restaurant in Sörkka, where smugglers, modern jazz girls and a young Mika Waltari meet. Waitress Eva's heart races when the newly released groom Ema returns with a knife in his pocket.
