Description
A bubbling portrait of 1920s Helsinki and the Prohibition era, when liquor poured in from Estonia and jazz from America. The venue is the restaurant Paratiisi in Sörkka, where smugglers, modern jazz girls and a young Mika Waltari meet. Waitress Eeva’s heart races as the newly released groom Ema returns with a knife in his pocket.
