Description
The newest project of Elena Mîndru, rooted in the jazz vocal tradition, merges her artistic vision and doctoral research into a unified musical whole. On stage, a quartet transforms it into expressive, inventive and forward‑looking performances that reflect the diversity and evolution of contemporary Finnish jazz.
Elena Mîndru’s singing style combines modern jazz, vocal jazz and contemporary influences, featuring improvisation, subtle phrasing and timed looping techniques. Together with her Finnish quartet, Mindru creates a dynamic program where research and artistic expression meet.
