The big band jams organized by Sointi Jazz Orchestra continue!
Free big band jams in the autumn season 2026:
Tue 6 Oct, 18:00–20:00
Tue 3 Nov, 18:00–20:00
Tue 8 Dec, 18:00–20:00
After the short performances of the house bands, all saxophonists, trumpeters, trombonists, rhythm section players and singers are welcome to join in making music! On site you will find a drum set, piano, bass and guitar amplifiers, music stands and sheet music. Bring any other instruments and drumsticks you need.
The jams feature a repertoire of enjoyable pieces suitable for players of different levels – the pieces to be played are chosen according to the musicians who show up.
Sheet music for the pieces can also be requested in advance. Send requests to: info@sointijazzorchestra.com
Come and bring a friend to make music together! You may also just come to listen and enjoy big band music.
